Tours

Tour costs are $2,500 USD for a 7 day tour, and are $3,500 USD for a 10 day tour.

However if you share a room with your chasing partner, then costs are just $2,050 each for a 7 day tour, and $2,900 USD each for a 10 day tour.

The 7 day tours are a full 7 days chasing with 8 hotel nights in your own room - each 7 day tour takes 4 guests, and begins and ends in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

The 10 day tours are a full 10 days chasing with 11 hotel nights in your own room - each 10 day tour takes 4 guests, and begins and ends in Denver, Colorado. 

Rooms selected for each night are of a good standard using the Wyndham Chain of hotels - current ratings are screened prior to booking to ensure quality accommodation

Arrival day for a tour is the day before the tours starts on the road - see details under each Tour.

Arrange your flight into the base city to arrive no later than the early afternoon on the arrival day to allow for any possible flight delays or cancellations. Plan on departing no earlier than mid-morning on the day after your tour, to allow for a possible late arrival back in the base city.

• Deposit to hold booking of $500 USD due on receiving the booking confirmation from us.
• Balance of your tour cost is payable 60 days prior to the start date of your tour.
• Tour cost covers tour operating expenses, provision of technical equipment & software and all of your hotel rooms both in the base city and on the road.
• Please carry your own loss/liability/health insurance cover, as other than the usual full cover on the tour vehicle, no personal insurance cover is available for tour guests.

Travelling light is key - one soft sided carry-on or small sized suitcase. Weather may be hot and humid by day, and cooler in the evening, especially after thunderstorms. Don’t forget - small bag for the car; waterproof windbreaker; camera case & accessories; batteries; tripod; extra memory cards; personal radio/music device with earphones <we do have great tunes in the vehicle, but you may prefer your personal playlist>; notebook/journal is handy, likely electronic; physical maps are also useful, but we do run Street Atlas live in the vehicle and keep daily GPS logs; an inflatable neck pillow can be handy for those long days driving.

Due to the challenges of managing competing data streams/bandwidth, WiFi is not available in the vehicle, so guests should arrange for their own Internet access while on the chase.
